Ending..

I enjoyed this class overall. I usually only like to read on my time but this class kind of help me adventure out of my comfort zone. The thing I would change about this class is..I'm not to sure. Because at the beginning I didn't really like doing the blogger but it started to become fun after awhile. It allows you to write (type) how you re feeling during and after you read the book. Also, in the class there are a lot of distractions, that sometimes keeps you from reading in class. So sometimes you have to take it upon yourself to read at home.

I've always loved to read but I started to read much more in this class and I felt..lets see..ACCOMPLISHED:). I would recommend this class to anyone. And I would hope they would enjoy it as much as I did. In addition, my reading experience was phenomenal. The type of books I chosen to read are fiction as well as suspense and drama. Those books in my opinion keep you wanting to read more. Which I love! I also think my reading has improved since this class. Lastly, this class was pretty good. Love you Clary !

Final Book :) God Dont Play By: Mary Monroe

I actually had started this book a while ago. But never finished but I FINALLY DID! This book was one of the best books I've read.
Annette Goode, one of the main charaters in the book,  is a young African American girl growing up in Florida in the 1950's. Annette's father leaves the family for another woman, his crazy acts sparks her mother's decision to leave Florida for Richland, Ohio. In Richland, Mrs. Goode feels that she can make a better life for herself and her child. To make money for the family, Mrs. Goode begins to work as a house keeper and also begins to live with the family, a one legged man named Mr. Boatwright. Mr. Boatwright begins to molest Annette, threatening Annette in so many different ways. Although Annette insist that he stops molesting her, Mr. Boatwright threatens her with a gun and warns her that he knows how to use it. Annette's life changes forever when she makes friends with her neighbour. Her name is Rhonda Nelson. And as the book describes her, she is drop dead gorgeouse. Annette, had always been told she was ugly and fat, and she couldnt belive that  someone like Rhonda wanted to become friends with her. Before long Rhoda and Annette are inseparable. When Annette finally tells Rhoda about Mr. Boatwright's molestation, Rhoda takes matters into her own hands.

In addittion to that, this sudden twist in the book suprises me. One ordinary day Mrs. Goode comes upon this anonymous letter in the mail. And this is just the beggining of this "anonymous" persons crazy acts. There are phone calls, packages, and letters. The threats started to get major. When it starts involving her daughter. Annette realizes that this situation isn't anything to play with. To comfort her there's Rhonda and Rhonda's teenage daughter Jade. This person wants to destroy everything Annette has built up too. From her tough childhood she had overcame. Everything was just falling apart.

Fly Girl

The other book I stopped reading mainly because I felt intrest to finish thise book. I actually finished! Books that I find ALOT of interest in I tend to read them quicker. This book was full of DRAMA, DRAMA. The begining was basically telling you about everybody. Throughout the book it brought new charaters in. And each had its distinct personality. Some being good and some being bad. The protangnist of the book was Tracy. Shes growing up with two good parents. Well sort of, because her dad doesnt live with them. Her mom ends up pregnant again and her dad still doesnt move back in. Which isnt  very thoughtful of him. Anyway, Tracy is a teen but shes growing up a little to fast. All she thinks about hiis looking her best and BOYS! Okay, we are girls but Tracy should be focused on being focus in class and self respect. She trys her hardest to get boys to fall for her. And thats when she turns to sex! Not a good idea at all, because these boys start to use her for that one thing..SEX! I started to feel really sorry for her because Tracy was way better than that. Tracy then starts to think why would any boy want any other girl than her, because Tracy swore she was the baddest thing walking but deep inside she has feelings. As she grows up a little more she has to choose what is more important.
In addition with all her boy crazy phases she loses friend gains them. This book was very good. I would reccommentd it to anyone! :)

This book is pretty good so far. This young girl Kenisha has a rough life. Her family is broking up. Well her mother passed away. And from what the book is saying her father is a player player. But he defenitly looks out for his daughter. Kenisha also found out that her cousin is actually her sister. WEIRD HUH? Kenisha described herself

Continued..

I LOVE THIS BOOK. And I defenitly respect Courtland's decision on keeping her virginity until shes married. Oh! But back to the book..as the book goes on Courtland goes out with some friends. You know just like a night out with the girls. Anyway, Allen's there (her crush, well now her boyfriend). Her bestfriend (Candy) looks at him with a sketchy look. Which had Courtland thinking wonder whats going on? As the chapter goes on, her bestfriend then tells her that Allen use to beat this girl he dated in the past. *GASP* Courtland brushes it off because she feels like its in the past and what he did then doesn't really matter. But in reality it does, because this can happen too her as well.
Further in, Allen takes her to prom and takes her to this NICE resturant, which has her complete shock. He then runs into a coach for a professional basketball team which is kind of ironic. I say that because he wants to play on the team that the coach he saw coaches for. (hopefully that makes since). They ate dinner and during dinner Courtland began to discuss with Allen about how she loved him so much, and he then revealed the threat her dad told him.

Details..

THE BOOK IS GETTING SO GOOD ! Courtland the main character I would say has a lot of thinking to do. There's this boy [Aleen] that's in the book and that was also mentioned in the first post. Come to find out he's in one of her classes. Aleen is good looking and the most popular player on the basketball team. And now hes putting the moves on her. Not sexual but has began to talk to her. He wants her to tutor him since he's "behind". However, Courtland participates in a group that teaches teens that their virginity is a gift and that they should wait until marriage to give the gift away. So she wears a pearl necklace to symbolize that. With that said if Aleen's looking for anything [hint. hint] he's not going to get far. Well lets hope NOT! Also, there's a lot of tension at home. Her father is a workaholic and is not really home much. And when he is he barely pays attention to anyone. Which I personally thinks has a bigger affect on Courtland's mother. OH! Let's not forget Courtland's sister. She loves her gameboy. Every time she's brought up in the book she's playing it. [giggles]

Beginning..

The book actually started very well. From how it starts I think theres going to be ALOT of drama and charaters. Im looking foward too whats to come. Theres a girl who really likes a guy [highschool love] ♥. Anyway, she likes him so much that she'll do anything. She dreams about him and all. I think shes a little obssesed. But, dont tell anyone sssh ! :) From what I've read so far I think her liking him so much and him being so "popular" is going to get her in some trouble. Hopefully shes prepared.
